Alt Text Generator (the "Plugin") is designed by James Hicks to simplify the process of managing and generating alt text for images on your Framer website. It allows you to view all alt text in one place and use AI-powered features to generate alt text in bulk. The Plugin is accessible through Framer and provides free manual alt text management and additional AI features upon signing in and purchasing credits.

2. License and Use

Upon accessing the Plugin, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use the Plugin solely for personal or business use. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or resell the Plugin or any of its features without prior written consent from James Hicks.

3. Features

• Free Use: Users can manually manage alt texts for images without any cost.
• AI-Powered Features: By signing in with Google, users can access AI-powered alt text generation.
• Bulk Generation: The Plugin allows for bulk alt text generation, up to 100 images at a time.

4. Credits

Each credit allows the generation of one alt text. Initial free credits are granted upon signing in with Google. Additional credits can be purchased within the Plugin. Credits are linked to the email address you used for Google sign-in. They can be used across different Framer projects but are otherwise non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

5. Limitations and Disclaimers

The Plugin uses large language models (LLMs) to provide high-quality alt text, but results may vary. We recommend reviewing all generated alt text before applying it to your website to ensure quality and relevance.

6. SEO and Accessibility

Using the Plugin’s features may improve SEO and accessibility, but we do not guarantee specific results. Optimization involves multiple factors beyond alt text.

7. Privacy and Data

By signing in with Google, you agree to allow us to access certain account information as per our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data and will not share personal information with third parties without your consent.

8. Payments and Refunds

Payments for additional credits are processed securely through a Lemon Squeezy payment link. Refunds will be considered in instances where you can evidence a genuine technical issue has prevented you from using the plugin as intended, but no guarantees are made. In general, all purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Plugin if you violate these Terms or engage in any unlawful activities.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property associated with the Plugin are owned by James Hicks.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Alt Text Generator plugin shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Plugin.
